Dearly beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits if they are of God: for many false prophets have come out into the world. And if also our good news is hid, in the lost is it hid: In whom the God of this world blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the enlightening of the good news of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, does not enlighten them.

But I say the truth to you; it is profitable to you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Intercessor shall not come to you; and if I go, I will send him to you. Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, if it remain not in the vine; so neither ye, if ye remain not in me. I am the vine, ye the branches: he remaining in me, and I in him, he bears much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
