His disciples remembered that it had been written, "Zeal for Thy house will eat Me up," The Jews, therefore, answered and said to Him, "What sign dost Thou show to us, seeing that Thou doest these things? Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." The Jews, therefore, said, "In forty-six years this temple was built, and wilt Thou raise it up in three days?" But He was speaking about the temple of His body. When, therefore, He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word that Jesus spake. But Jesus did not trust Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that any one should testify concerning man; for He Himself knew what was in man,

And Jesus entered into the temple, and cast out all those selling and buying in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those selling the doves. And He saith to them, "It has been written, 'My house, shall be called a house of prayer; but ye are making it a den of robbers!'"

And, having entered into the temple, He began to cast out those who sold; saying to them, "It has been written, 'And My house shall be a house of prayer;' but ye made it a den of robbers."

And they come to Jerusalem. And, entering into the temple, He began to cast out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those who sold doves; and He was not permitting that any one should carry a vessel through the temple. And He was teaching, and said to them, "Has it not been written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations;' but ye have made it a den of robbers!"
