These signs will accompany those who believe. They will cast out demons in my name. They will speak with new languages. They will pick up and handle serpents. Deadly drink will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

See my hands and my feet that it is I. Touch me and see. A spirit does not have flesh and bones like I have. When he said this he showed them his hands and his feet. Repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. You see I send the promise of my Father upon you. You are to wait in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.

John 20:19-23

It was evening of the first day of the week. The disciples shut the doors where they stayed for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: May you have Peace. When he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were glad, when they saw the Lord. Jesus therefore said to them again: May you have peace.
