they are to show that your faith when tested is found to be more precious than gold, which though it is perishable is tested with fire, and they will bring you praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. You must love him, though you have not seen him, but since you believe in him though you do not now see him, rejoice with triumphant, unutterable joy to attain the goal of faith, the salvation of your souls.
