Jesus therefore said, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then ye will know that I am He, and do nothing of myself, but speak these things as the Father taught me. And he that sent me is with me; he hath not left me alone, for I always do the things that please him.

But he answered them, My Father is working up to this time, and I work. On this account the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only broke the sabbath, but also said that God was his own Father, making himself equal with God. Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly do I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing; for whatever He doeth, these things the Son also doeth in like manner; read more.
for the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things which he himself doeth; and greater works than these will he show him, so that ye will wonder.

Jesus therefore said to them, I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me will not hunger; and he that believeth in me will never thirst. Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but that the works of God might be made manifest in him. We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night is coming, when no one can work.

Jesus answered and said to him, If any one loveth me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him. but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit which the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things which I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world giveth, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. Ye heard me say to you, I am going away, and am coming again to you. If ye loved me, ye would have rejoiced that I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. But [this must be] that the world may know that I love the Father, and that as the Father gave me commandment so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

When Jesus had thus spoken, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father! the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the Son may glorify thee; according as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that he should give everlasting life to all whom thou hast given him. And this is the everlasting life, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou didst send. read more.

Saying above, "Sacrifices and offerings, and whole burntofferings and sacrifices for sin thou wouldest not, and hadst no pleasure in them,"such as are offered in conformity to the Law, then hath he said, "Lo, I have come to do thy will." He setteth aside the first, that he may establish the second. And in this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

and I give them everlasting life; and they shall never perish, nor shall any one tear them out of my hand. That which my Father hath given me is greater than all; and no one is able to tear [them] out of the Fathers hand. I and the Father are one.
