As they went on their way up to Jerusalem, Jesus walked ahead of them, and they were in dismay, and those who still followed were afraid. And he took the Twelve aside again and began to tell them what was going to happen to him. "See!" he said, "we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the high priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and hand him over to the heathen and they will ridicule him and spit on him and flog him and kill him; and three days after he will rise again."

When Jesus was about to go up to Jerusalem, he took the Twelve off by themselves, and said to them as they were on the way, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the high priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and hand him over to the heathen to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised to life."

And he took the Twelve aside and said to them, "See! we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything written in the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. For he will be handed over to the heathen, and ridiculed and insulted and spat upon, and they will flog him and kill him, and on the third day he will rise again." read more.
