And as He drew near, beholding the city, He wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at lest in this thy day, the things relating to thy peace--- but now they are hid from thine eyes.

And as He drew near, beholding the city, He wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at lest in this thy day, the things relating to thy peace--- but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast up a trench about thee, and surround thee, and keep thee in on every side, read more.
and shall lay thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another: because thou didst not regard the time of thy visitation.

And when ye shall see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh: then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains, and those that are in the midst of it, depart; and let not them that are in the countries enter into it. For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. read more.
But wo to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days; for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people, and they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and be led captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trampled down by the Gentiles, till the times of the Gentiles too shall be fulfilled.

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three impure spirits like frogs: for they are the spirits of demons, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to bring them together to the battle of that great day of God almighty. read more.
"Behold, I come as a thief: blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, that he may not walk naked, and his shame be seen." And he gathered them together into a place called in Hebrew Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as never was since there were men upon the earth, so violent and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came into remembrance before God, to give her the cup of the wine of his fierce wrath. And every island fled, and the mountains were not found. And great hail-stones of a talent weight came down from heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

And when the thousand years are ended, Satan shall be loosed from his confinement, and shall go forth to deceive the nations, that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to war, whose number is as the sand of the sea. And they overspread the surface of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city: but fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. read more.
And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They were eating, drinking, marrying, and being married, till the day that Noah went into the ark: and the flood came and destroyed them all. And as it was likewise in the days of Lot; they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, and building: read more.
but the very day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Thus shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed. In that day, whoever shall be on the house-top, and his goods in the house, let him not come down into it to take them away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life, shall lose it; and whosoever will venture his life, shall preserve it. In that night there shall be two in one bed; the one shall be taken and the other left: two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken and the other left: two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left. And they answered and said unto Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, where the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

When therefore ye shall see the desolating abomination, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing at the holy place, (let him, that readeth, attend) then let those in Judea flee to the mountains:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold your house shall be left you desolate:

Now when ye shall see the desolating abomination, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, set up where it ought not to be, (let him that readeth, attend) then let those in Judea flee to the mountains: and let not him that is at the top of the house come down into the house, nor go in to fetch any thing out of his house: nor let him that is in the field return back for his clothes. read more.
But wo to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days. But pray that your flight may not be in the winter; for in those days shall be such affliction as never was from the beginning of the world, unto this day, nor ever shall be. And if the Lord did not shorten those days, none could escape: but for the sake of the elect, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened those days. And then if any shall say to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or, Behold, He is there, believe it not: for there shall rise up false Christs, and false prophets, who shall work signs and wonders, to seduce, if possible, even the elect. But do ye beware: behold, I have told you all before.

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and I assure you ye shall not see me again till the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord.

And when they came near to Jerusalem, even to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, He sendeth two of his disciples, and saith to them, Go into the village over against you, and as soon as ye enter into it, ye will find a colt tied, on which no man hath yet sat; loose him, and bring him to me. And if any one say to you, Why do ye so? tell him, that the Lord hath need of it, and he will immediately send it hither. read more.
And they went and found the colt tied at a door abroad, where two ways met, and they untied it. And some of the people that stood there, said to them, What do ye mean by untying the colt? And they answered them as Jesus had ordered, and they permitted them. So they brought the colt to Jesus, and laid their garments on it, and He sat upon it. And many spread their clothes in the way; and others cut off branches from the trees, and strewed them in the way. And they that went before, and they that followed, cried out, saying, Hosanna, blessed be He that cometh in the name of the Lord: blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that is coming in the name of the Lord, Hosanna in the highest. And Jesus went into Jerusalem, and into the temple; and when He had looked round upon every thing, it being now late in the day, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.

And when they drew nigh to Jerusalem and were come to Bethphage at the mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, saying unto them, Go into the village over-against you, and ye will find directly an ass tied and a colt with her: loose them and bring them to me: and if any one say any thing to you, tell him the Lord hath need of them, and he will immediately send them. read more.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, behold, thy king cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, even a colt the fole of an ass. And the disciples went, and did as Jesus ordered them, and brought the ass and the colt, and threw their clothes over them, and set Him upon them. And great numbers spread their garments in the way, and others cut off boughs from the trees, and strewed them in the way: and the multitudes, that went before and that followed, cried saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: blessed be He that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when He came into Jerusalem, all the city was in a commotion, saying, Who is this? And the people answered, This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth in Galilee.

And when He was nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, He sent two of his disciples, saying, Go into the opposite village, in which, at your entring, ye will find a colt tied, on which no man ever yet sat; loose him and bring him hither. And if any one ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, The Lord hath need of him. read more.
And they that were sent, went away and found it as He had told them. But as they were untying the colt, the owners of it said to them, Why do ye untie the colt? and they answered, The Lord hath need of him. And they brought him to Jesus: and throwing their garments upon the colt they set Jesus thereon. And as He went along they spread their clothes under Him in the way. And when He was now come near to the foot of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples rejoicing began to praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen, saying, Blessed be the king that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest! And some of the pharisees from among the multitude said to Him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And He answered them, I tell you, that if these were silent, the very stones would cry out. And as He drew near, beholding the city, He wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at lest in this thy day, the things relating to thy peace--- but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast up a trench about thee, and surround thee, and keep thee in on every side, and shall lay thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another: because thou didst not regard the time of thy visitation.

The next day a great multitude that were come to the feast, hearing that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm-trees, and went out to meet Him, and cried, Hosanna! blessed be the king of Israel, who cometh in the name of the Lord. And Jesus having gotten a young ass sat thereon, read more.
as it is written, "Fear not, O daughter of Sion, behold thy king cometh sitting on an ass's colt." Now his disciples did not understand these things at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written concerning Him, and that they had done thus unto Him. And the people that were with Him testified, that He called Lazarus out of the grave, and raised him from the dead: and for this reason the people went to meet Him, because they heard that He had done this miracle. The pharisees therefore said among themselves, Do ye not see that ye prevail nothing? Behold, all the world is gone after Him.

And as He drew near, beholding the city, He wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at lest in this thy day, the things relating to thy peace--- but now they are hid from thine eyes. and shall lay thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another: because thou didst not regard the time of thy visitation. And He went into the temple, and cast out those that were buying and selling in it, saying unto them, It is written, "my house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves." And He was teaching daily in the temple: but the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people sought to destroy Him; and could not find how to effect it: for all the people were attentive to hear Him.

And when He was got to the mount of olives, the disciples came to Him in private and said, Tell us when these things shall be, and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world. And Jesus answered them, See that no one deceive you: for many shall come in my name saying, I am the Christ, and shall deceive many. read more.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, but be not troubled; for all these must indeed come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in several places: all which are but the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they afflict you, and kill you; and ye shall be hated by all nations for my name: and then will many take offense, and betray one another, and hate one another: and many false prophets will rise up and deceive many: and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he that endures to the end, shall be saved: and this gospel of the kingdom of heaven shall be preached in all the world, for a testimony to all the nations; and then shall the end come. When therefore ye shall see the desolating abomination, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing at the holy place, (let him, that readeth, attend) then let those in Judea flee to the mountains: let not him that is at the top of the house come down into it, to take any thing out of his house; nor let him that is in the field return back to take his clothes. But wo to them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days. Pray that your flight be not in the winter, nor on the sabbath: for there shall be then great affliction, such as has not been from the beginning of the world unto this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days be shortened, no one would be saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. Then if any shall say to you, Behold here is the Messiah, or there; believe it not: for there shall rise up false Christs, and false prophets, who shall shew great signs and prodigies, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Lo, I have told you before-hand: and therefore if they say to you, Behold, he is in the desert, go not out: behold, he is the secret chambers, believe them not: for as the lightning cometh from the east, and flashes in an instant even to the west, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. And immediately after the affliction of those days, the fun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give it's light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the land mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming as on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory: and He will send forth his messengers with a trumpet of a loud voice, and they shall gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Now learn a parable from the fig-tree: when it's branch is tender and bringeth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh; so ye also, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near even at the doors. Verily I tell you, this generation shall not pass away, till all these be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
