And many spread their clothes in the way; and others cut off branches from the trees, and strewed them in the way. And Jesus went into Jerusalem, and into the temple; and when He had looked round upon every thing, it being now late in the day, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.

Now learn a parable from the fig-tree: when it's branch is tender and bringeth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh; so ye also, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near even at the doors. Verily I tell you, this generation shall not pass away, till all these be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
