And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all those who sold and bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of those who sold the doves; and said to them, It is written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer; but ye make it a den of robbers."
And entering the temple, he began to cast out those who sold, saying to them, It is written, "And my house shall be a house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of robbers."
And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the moneychangers sitting. And having made a scourge of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and poured out the money of the exchangers, and overthrew the tables; and said to those who sold the doves, Take these things hence; make not my Fathers house a house of merchandise.
