"Who was it that touched me?" Jesus asked; and, while everyone was denying having done so, Peter exclaimed: "Why, Sir, the people are crowding round you and pressing upon you!"

And so many people collected together, that after a while there was no room for them even round the door; and he began to tell them his Message.

For he had cured many of them, and so people kept crowding upon him, that all who were afflicted might touch him.

So Jesus went with him. A great number of People followed Jesus, and kept pressing round him.

Once, when the people were pressing round Jesus as the listened to God's Message, he happened to be standing by the shore of the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats close to the shore.

Presently Jesus' mother and brothers came where he was, but they were not able to join him on account of the crowd.

All who are guided by the Spirit of God are Sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of a slave, to fill you once more with fear, but the spirit of a son which leads us to cry 'Abba, Our Father.' The Spirit himself unites with our spirits in bearing witness to our being God's children, read more.
And if children, then heirs-heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, since we share Christ's sufferings in order that we may also share his Glory.

Do not enter into inconsistent relations with those who reject the Faith. For what partnership can there be between righteousness and lawlessness? or what has light to do with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial? or what can those who accept the Faith have in common with those who reject it? What agreement can thee be between a temple of God and idols? And we are a temple of the Living God. That is what God meant when he said--'I will dwell among them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. read more.

Then, stretching out his hands towards his disciples, he said: "Here are my mother and my brothers! For any one who does the will of my Father who is in Heaven is my brother and sister and mother."

And his mother and his brothers came, and stood outside, and sent to ask him to come to them. There was a crowd sitting round Jesus, and some of them said to him: "Look, your mother and your brothers are outside, asking for you." "Who is my mother? and my brothers?" was his reply. read more.
Then he looked around on the people sitting in a circle round him, and said: "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother."

Presently Jesus' mother and brothers came where he was, but they were not able to join him on account of the crowd. His reply, spoken to them all, was: "My mother and my brothers are those who listen to God's teaching and do what it bids."

What our eyes do see is Jesus, who was made for a while lower than angels, now, because of his sufferings and death, crowned with glory and honour; so that his tasting the bitterness of death should, in God's loving-kindness, be on behalf of all mankind. It was, indeed, fitting that God, for whom and through whom all things exist, should, when leading many sons to glory, make the author of their Salvation perfect through suffering. For he who purifies, and those whom he purifies, all spring from One; and therefore he is not ashamed to call them 'Brothers.'
