And they sojourning in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men. And they will kill Him; and He will rise the third day. And they were grieved exceedingly.
And they coming out thence, traveled through Galilee; and He was not willing that any one should know it. For He was teaching His disciples, and saying to them, The Son of man is betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him; and having been killed, He will rise again the third day. And they did not understand the word, and they were afraid to ask Him.
And all were astonished at the majesty of God.And all being astonished at all things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, You place these words in your ears: for the Son of man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men. And they did not understand this word, and it was hidden from them, in order that they should not understand it: and they were afraid to ask Him concerning this word.
