Then were two thieves crucified with him, one on the right-hand and one on the left. And they that were passing by reviled him, wagging their heads and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son God, come down from the cross. read more.
In like manner the chief priests also with the scribes and elders mocking him said, He saved others; Cannot he save himself? If he be the king of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God: let him deliver him now if he will have him; for he said, I am the Son of God. And even the robbers that were crucified with him, cast the same reproach upon him.

And there were also led two other men, malefactors, to be put to death with him. And when they were come to the place, called the place of a scull, there they crucified him, and the two malefactors, one on the right-hand, and one on the left. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others: let him save himself, if he be the Christ, the chosen of God. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. And a superscription also was written over him in Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew letters, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. And one of the malefactors, who were hanging on the cross, reviled him, saying, If thou be the Christ, save thyself and us.
