A person's life is like grass it blossoms like wild flowers, but when the wind blows through it, it withers away and no one remembers where it was.

A voice says, "Cry out!" So I asked, "What am I to cry out?" "All humanity is grass, and all its loyalty is like the flowers of the field. Grass withers and flowers fade away when the LORD's breath blows on them; surely the people are like grass.

You will sweep them away while they are asleep by morning they are like growing grass. In the morning it blossoms and is renewed, but toward evening, it fades and withers.
