Then Jesus having sent the multitude away, went into the house: and his disciples came to him, saying, Declare to us the parable of the darnel of the field.
And when he was alone, they that were about him, with the twelve, asked him of the parable.
And when he was come from the multitude into the house, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes, that Elijah must come first?
And when he was come into an house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
And as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
And a certain ruler asked him saying, Good master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Then said they to him, What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?

And the Pharisees came to him, tempting him and saying, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answering said to them, Have ye not read, that he who made them, made them male and female from the beginning? And said, For this cause a man shall leave father and mother and cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh? read more.
Wherefore they are no more twain but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. They say to him, Why then did Moses command to give a writing of divorce and put her away? He saith to them, Because of the hardness of your hearts, Moses suffered you to put away your wives; but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except for whoredom, and marry another, committeth adultery, and whoso marrieth her that is put away, committeth adultery. His disciples say to him, If the case of a man with his wife be so, it is not expedient to marry. But he said to them, All men cannot receive this saying, but they to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs, who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
