Let servants be husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
A blameless man will be the husband of one wife. He will have children that believe and who are not accused of violence and disobedience.
He must not take many wives or his heart will turn astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold.
Did God make you one? Your flesh and spirit belong to him. What does God look for but godly descendants? Do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth.
