And, leaving them, He went forth out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there. And in the morning, returning into the city, He hungered. And, seeing one fig tree by the way, He came to it, and found nothing thereon except leaves only. And He saith to it, "No more may fruit come from you forever." And immediately the fig tree withered away! read more.
And the disciples, seeing it, wondered, saying, "How quickly the fig tree withered away!" And Jesus, answering, said to them, "Verily I say to you, if ye have faith, and do not doubt, not only the withering of the fig tree shall ye accomplish, but, even if ye say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up, and be cast into the sea,' it shall be done. And all things whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

And on the morrow, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And, seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, He came, if perhaps He might find something thereon. And, having come to it, He found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. And, answering, He said to it, "May no one eat fruit from you any more forever!" And His disciples heard it.

And, passing by the next morning, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, calling to remembrance, says to Him, "Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which Thou didst curse has withered away!" And Jesus, answering, saith to them, "Have the faith of God. read more.
Verily I say to you, whosoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says comes to pass; he shall have it. Therefore, I say to you, all things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye received them, and ye shall have them.
