And now when night was come, because it was the even that goeth before the Sabbath, Joseph of Arimathaea, a noble councilor which also looked for the kingdom of God, came and went in boldly unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. And there followed him a great company of people, and of women: which women bewailed, and lamented him. But Jesus turned back unto them, and said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me: but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
