Then took Mary a pound of ointment called nard, perfect and precious, and anointed Jesus' feet, and wiped his feet with her hair, and all the house was filled of the savour of the ointment. Then said one of his disciples named Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which afterward betrayed him, "Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?" read more.
This said he, not that he cared for the poor: but because he was a thief, and kept the bag, and bare that which was given. Then said Jesus, "Let her alone, against the day of my burying she kept it.

So then when the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received into heaven, and is set down on the righthand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere. And the Lord wrought with them; And confirmed the word with miracles that followed.

And he led them out into Bethany, and lift up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, as he blessed them, he departed from them, and was carried up into heaven. And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. read more.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up: and a cloud received him up out of their sight. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from Mount Olivet, which is nigh to Jerusalem, containing a Sabbath day's journey.

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, and said, "What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you?" And they appointed unto him thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went away unto the high priests, to betray him unto them. When they heard that, they were glad, and promised that they would give him money. And he sought, how he might conveniently betray him.

While he yet spake: behold, there came a company: and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and pressed nigh unto Jesus to kiss him. And Jesus said unto him, "Judas, betrayest thou the son of man with a kiss?"

Then came he to his disciples and said unto them, "Sleep henceforth, and take your rest. Take heed: the hour is at hand, and the son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of sinners.
