Now on the first day of the sabbaths Mary Magdelene comes early in the morning while it was yet dark to the tomb, and sees the stone taken out of the tomb. She runs, therefore, and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and says to them, "They took away the Lord out of the tomb, and we know not where they laid Him!"
