And when the hour was come, He sat down and the twelve apostles with Him. And He said unto them, I have earnestly desired to eat of this passover with you before I suffer: for I say unto you, that I will not eat of it any more, till it be accomplished in the kingdom of God. And taking the cup He gave thanks and said, Take this and distribute it among yourselves. For I tell you, that I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine, till the kingdom of God shall come. And He took bread, and gave thanks and brake it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me: as also the cup after supper, saying, This cup represents the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.
