They came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples and a large crowd were leaving Jericho, Bartimaeus the son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.

Then they came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to Jesus and asked him to touch him.

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, shouting, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"


Two blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, "Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!"

The blind and lame came to him in the temple courts, and he healed them.

At that very time Jesus cured many people of diseases, sicknesses, and evil spirits, and granted sight to many who were blind.

Now as Jesus was passing by, he saw a man who had been blind from birth.

Two blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, "Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!" The crowd scolded them to get them to be quiet. But they shouted even more loudly, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!"

"What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?" They said, "The son of David."

When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Many scolded him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"

They told him, "Jesus the Nazarene is passing by."

And those who were in front scolded him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted even more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"


As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, shouting, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!"

I was eyes for the blind and feet for the lame;

The crowds were amazed and said, "Never has anything like this been seen in Israel!" But the Pharisees said, "By the ruler of demons he casts out demons."

Then he spit on his eyes, placed his hands on his eyes and asked, "Do you see anything?" Regaining his sight he said, "I see people, but they look like trees walking." read more.
Then Jesus placed his hands on the man's eyes again. And he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.

Now as Jesus was passing by, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who committed the sin that caused him to be born blind, this man or his parents?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but he was born blind so that the acts of God may be revealed through what happens to him. read more.
We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." Having said this, he spat on the ground and made some mud with the saliva. He smeared the mud on the blind man's eyes and said to him, "Go wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated "sent"). So the blind man went away and washed, and came back seeing.
