Thematic Bible: May be rendered ineffectual
Thematic Bible
God » Grace of » May be rendered ineffectual
But, Jesus, made some little less than messengers, we do behold: by reason of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour, to the end that, by favour of God, in behalf of every one, he might taste of death.
As co-workers, however, we also beseech, that, not in vain, the favour of God, ye welcome;
Of which I was made a minister, according to the free-gift of the favour of God which was given unto me, according to the energy of his power:
Howbeit he giveth, greater, favour. Wherefore it saith - God, against the haughty, arrayeth himself, Whereas, unto the lowly, he giveth favour.
I do not set aside the favour of God; for, if, through law, is righteousness, then, Christ, without cause, died.
