As children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance,
For they do not know to do right, says LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
But they know not the thoughts of LORD, nor do they understand his counsel, for he has gathered them as the sheaves to the threshing-floor.
They do not know the way of peace, and there is no justice in their goings. They have made them crooked paths. Whoever goes in it does not know peace.
Then I said, Surely these are poor, they are foolish, for they know not the way of LORD, nor the law of their God.
For not understanding the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
