And they all ate, and were satisfied; and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full. And those eating were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

And the twelve, coming near, said to Him, "Send away the multitudes; that, going into the villages and country round about, they may lodge and find food; because we are here in a desert place." But He said to them, "Give ye them to eat." And they said, "We have no more than five loaves and two fishes; unless we, going, should buy food for all this people."
