But a certain Samaritan, going on his way, came down to him; and, seeing him, he was moved with compassion; and, coming to him, he bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and, setting him on his own beast, he brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the multitudes, with one accord, were giving heed to the things spoken by Philip, when they heard and saw the things which he was doing. He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee. And it was necessary that He should go through Samaria.
