Thematic Bible: Not pleasing ourselves

But we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of those who are not strong, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor in that which is good for his edification. For the Christ did not please himself; but as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee, fell on me.
