And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim set forward according to their armies, and over his army was Elishama the son of Ammihud. And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni. And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan, which was the rearward of all the camps, set forward according to their armies, and over his army was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ochran. And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan. Thus were the journeys of the sons of Israel according to their armies, and they set forward. Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the sons of Hobab the brother-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.

And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that whatever good LORD shall do to us, the same we will do to thee. And they set forward from the mount of LORD three days' journey. And the ark of the covenant of LORD went before them three days' journey, to seek out a resting-place for them. And the cloud of LORD was over them by day when they set forward from the camp. And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, O LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let those who hate thee flee before thee. And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, to the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.

And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, to Horeb.
Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well. Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters. And they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock. And the shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock. read more.
And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye have come so soon today? And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and moreover he drew water for us, and watered the flock. And he said to his daughters, And where is he? Why is it that ye have left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread. And Moses was content to dwell with the man, and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter. And she bore a son, and he called his name Gershom, for he said, I have been a sojourner in a foreign land.
And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye have come so soon today?
