And I said to him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Deep calleth to deep at the noise of thy water-spouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
But now he hath made me weary: thou hast made desolate all my company. And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face. They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves against me. God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked. I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark. His archers encompass me; he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground. He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant. I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust. My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids are the shades of death;

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods encompassed me: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.
Famine » Often severe
And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to dwell there; for the famine was grievous in the land.
And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
And Elijah went to show himself to Ahab. And there was a grievous famine in Samaria.
