Thematic Bible: Origin, heavenly
Thematic Bible
Christ's » Filial » Origin, heavenly
The first man is of the earth, made of dust: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
He that comes from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaks of the earth: he that comes from heaven is above all.
For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Now are we sure that you know all things, and need not that any man should ask you: but this we believe that you came forth from God.
And he said unto them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world.
