Thematic Bible: Overruling wicked designs for good
Thematic Bible
The Providence of God » Is exercised in » Overruling wicked designs for good
But as for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save a great many people alive.
But I desire that you should understand, brothers, that the things which happened to me have fallen out rather to the furtherance of the gospel;
And now do not be grieved, nor angry with yourselves that you sold me here. For God sent me before you to preserve life. For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be no plowing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
