Who gives food to all flesh; for His mercy endures forever.

These all wait on You, that You may give them their food in due season.



But I desire that you should understand, brothers, that the things which happened to me have fallen out rather to the furtherance of the gospel;

And now do not be grieved, nor angry with yourselves that you sold me here. For God sent me before you to preserve life. For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be no plowing nor harvest. If it goes up by the way of its own border to Beth-shemesh, He has done us this great evil. But if not, then we shall know that it is not His hand that struck us. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

Surely He will deliver you from the fowler's trap and from the destroying plague.

As birds flying, so Jehovah of Hosts will defend Jerusalem; also defending, He will deliver it; and passing over He will preserve it.



O Lord Jehovah, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle.


Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.


Jehovah takes away, and He gives riches; He brings low; yea, He lifts up high. He raises up the poor out of the dust; He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to set them among princes; yea, He causes them to inherit a throne of honor; for to Jehovah are the pillars of the earth; and He sets the habitable world on them.
