But when his disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, Why this waste? For this ointment could have been sold for much, and given to the poor.
Therefore one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, the man who was going to betray him, says, Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii, and given to the poor?
