They serve in a sanctuary that is a copy, a shadow of the heavenly one. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tent: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain."

The Israelis had done all the work according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses. Moses blessed them when he saw all the work and that they had completed it. They had done it just as the LORD had commanded.
"Our ancestors had the Tent of Testimony in the wilderness constructed, just as the one who spoke to Moses directed him to make it according to the pattern he had seen.
