Now after these things were finished, Paul purposed in the spirit to go to Jerusalem after he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, saying, "After I have been there, I must also see Rome."

You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints. Now I urge you, brethren,

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are throughout Achaia:


nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia; and again I returned to Damascus.


When we had sailed across the open sea off the coast of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we landed at Myra in Lycia.


Sailing from there, we arrived the following day opposite Chios; and the next day we crossed over to Samos; and the day after that we came to Miletus.


And when he met us at Assos, we took him on board and came to Mitylene. Sailing from there, we arrived the following day opposite Chios; and the next day we crossed over to Samos; and the day after that we came to Miletus.


And when they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit o Jesus did not allow them; so passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas.


So putting out to sea from Troas, we ran a straight course to Samothrace, and on the day following to Neapolis;


But they passed on from Perga and came to Pisidian Antioch. And on the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down.

They passed through Pisidia, and came into Pamphylia.


When we had finished the voyage from Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais; and we greeted the brethren and stayed with them for a day.


So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there they sailed to Cyprus.


After we put in at Syracuse, we stayed there for three days.


Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.

for even in Thessalonica you sent me a gift once and again for my needs.


When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and the books, especially the parchments.

Now when I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and when a door was opened for me in the Lord,

These went on ahead and were waiting for us at Troas. But we sailed away from Philippi after the Days of Unleavened Bread, and in five days came to them at Troas, where we stayed seven days.

so passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas.


When we had come in sight of Cyprus, leaving it on the left we sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unload its cargo. And having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days. Through the Spirit they told Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. And when our days there were ended, we left and started on our journey, while they all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city.
