Frowardness » The froward
A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. read more.
I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity. Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.

He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong. They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope in the noonday as in the night.

Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
