there shall again be heard the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say, Give ye thanks unto Jehovah of hosts; for Jehovah is good, for his loving-kindness endureth for ever, of them that bring thanksgiving unto the house of Jehovah. For I will turn the captivity of the land as in the beginning, saith Jehovah.

Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way:

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

I will record the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel which he hath bestowed upon them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.

Behold then the goodness and severity of God: upon them who have fallen, severity; upon thee goodness of God, if thou shalt abide in goodness, since otherwise thou also wilt be cut away.

Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way:

Jehovah is good to all; and his tender mercies are over all his works.

For the grace of God which carries with it salvation for all men has appeared, teaching us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in the present course of things,

But we ought, we that are strong, to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbour with a view to what is good, to edification. For the Christ also did not please himself; but according as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproach thee have fallen upon me. read more.
For as many things as have been written before have been written for our instruction, that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.

TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Jehovah, according to thy word. Teach me good discernment and knowledge; for I have believed in thy commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep thy word. read more.
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes. The proud have forged falsehood against me: I will observe thy precepts with my whole heart. Their heart is as fat as grease: as for me, I delight in thy law. It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn thy statutes.

But thou, abide in those things which thou hast learned, and of which thou hast been fully persuaded, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the sacred letters, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Every scripture is divinely inspired, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; read more.

Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son has not the Father either; he who confesses the Son has the Father also. As for you let that which ye have heard from the beginning abide in you: if what ye have heard from the beginning abides in you, ye also shall abide in the Son and in the Father. read more.
And this is the promise which he has promised us, life eternal. These things have I written to you concerning those who lead you astray: and yourselves, the unction which ye have received from him abides in you, and ye have not need that any one should teach you; but as the same unction teaches you as to all things, and is true and is not a lie, and even as it has taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse, double in ways, though he be rich.

The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether: They are more precious than gold, yea, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey and the dropping of the honeycomb.

The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold: for wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not equal to it. I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find the knowledge which cometh of reflection. read more.
The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth do I hate. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am intelligence; I have strength. By me kings reign, and rulers make just decrees; by me princes rule, and nobles, all the judges of the earth. I love those that love me; and they that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me; durable wealth and righteousness. My fruit is better than fine gold, yea, than pure gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
