And he made two cherubs of gold on the two ends of the mercy-seat. He made them of beaten work, one cherub here at one end, and one cherub there at the other end. He made the cherubs out of the mercy-seat on the two ends of it. And the cherubs were spreading out their wings above, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, their faces each toward the other. The faces of the cherubs were toward the mercy-seat. And he made the table of acacia-wood. Two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made for it a crown of gold all around.

more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

For the profit from it is better than the gain from silver, and its produce more than fine gold;

The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it; it cannot be weighed against pure gold.

And they brought out the king's son and put the crown on him, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him and said, Let the king live!
