The father of the righteous has great joy. Whoever fathers a wise child delights in him.
Blessed are the people who know the joyful shout. They walk in the light of your presence, LORD. In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.
But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me.
Our soul has waited for the LORD. He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
