And God doth shoot them with an arrow, Sudden have been their wounds, And they cause him to stumble, Against them is their own tongue, Every looker on them fleeth away. And all men fear, and declare the work of God, And His deed they have considered wisely.

I have cut off nations, Desolated have been their chief ones, I have laid waste their out-places without any passing by, Destroyed have been their cities, Without man, without inhabitant. but in the most of them God was not well pleased, for they were strewn in the wilderness, and those things became types of us, for our not passionately desiring evil things, as also these did desire. because if our heart may condemn -- because greater is God than our heart, and He doth know all things.

Therefore, thou art inexcusable, O man -- every one who is judging -- for in that in which thou dost judge the other, thyself thou dost condemn, for the same things thou dost practise who art judging,

If I be righteous, Mine mouth doth declare me wicked, Perfect I am! -- it declareth me perverse.
