Women » Religious privileges of, among early Christians

the women must be silent in the churches, for it is not permitted for them to speak, but they must be in submission, just as the law also says.
but every woman who prays or prophesies with uncovered head dishonors her head, for she is one and the same with the one whose [head] is shaved.
A woman must learn in quietness with all submission.
And [when he] realized [this], he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John (who is also called Mark), where many [people] were gathered together and were praying. And [when] he knocked at the door of the gateway, a female slave {named} Rhoda came up to answer.
