Thematic Bible: Responsibility of stewardship
Thematic Bible
Personal responsibility » Responsibility of stewardship
Who are you, who passes judgment on the domestic slave belonging to someone else? To his own master he stands or falls, and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
The person, the [one] sinning, will die. A son shall not bear the guilt of the father, and a father shall not bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be on him; the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.
"Fathers shall not be put to death because of [their] children, and children shall not be put to death because of [their] fathers; each one shall be put to death for his [own] sin.
And what is more, [if] I have truly erred, my error remains with me.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and [if] you scoff, alone you shall bear [it].
{But} each will die because of his iniquity, {everyone} who eats the unripe fruit, their teeth will {be set on edge}.
For each one will carry his own burden.
