And there was a war in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting with the dragon. And the dragon fought and his angels, and were not strong, neither was their place found any longer in heaven. And the great dragon, the old serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, and who deceives all the world, was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast [to the earth] with him.

And the sixth poured out his bowl on the river, the great Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings from the East might be prepared. And I saw three impure spirits like frogs [proceed] from the mouth of the dragon and from the mouth of the beast and from the mouth of the false prophet;??14 for [these] are spirits of demons that perform miracles, that go to the kings of all the world, to assemble them for the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief; blessed is he that watches and keeps on his clothes, lest he walk naked and they see his shame. And they assembled them in the place called in Hebrew Armagedon.
