Thematic Bible

If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,

Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter."

For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.

All this has come on us, yet have we not forgotten you, Neither have we been false to your covenant. Our heart has not turned back, neither have our steps strayed from your path, Though you have crushed us in the haunt of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter." No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
