But I say unto you, that ye resist not the evil man: but whosoever shall smite thee on the right-cheek, turn to him the other also; And if a man will sue thee and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go with him one mile, go with him twain.
Indeed even this is altogether a fault among you, that ye have contests with each other. Why do ye not rather suffer wrong?
