And we have the word of prophecy more confirmed, to which ye do well that ye take heed, as to a lamp that shone in a dark place, till the day should dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts: Knowing this before that no scripture prophecy is of any private interpretation. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but the holy men of God spake being moved by the Holy Ghost.

For verily there is a disannulling of the preceding commandment, for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by which we draw nigh to God. And in as much as not without an oath he was made priest: (For those priests were made without an oath, but this with an oath, by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedek:) Of so much better a covenant was Jesus made a surety.
