When he left there, he met Jehonadab, son of Rekab, who had been looking for him. Jehu greeted him and asked, "Are you as committed to me as I am to you?" Jehonadab answered, "I am!" Jehu replied, "If so, give me your hand." So he offered his hand and Jehu pulled him up into the chariot.




He gave her his hand and helped her get up. Then he called the saints and widows and presented her alive.


But Jesus gently took his hand and raised him to his feet, and he stood up.


Then Peter took hold of him by the right hand and raised him up, and at once the man's feet and ankles were made strong.


and all the elders of that city nearest the corpse must wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley.

I maintain a pure lifestyle, so I can appear before your altar, O Lord,

When Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but that instead a riot was starting, he took some water, washed his hands before the crowd and said, "I am innocent of this man's blood. You take care of it yourselves!"

I concluded, "Surely in vain I have kept my motives pure and maintained a pure lifestyle.
