Ye shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any manner, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

For he will not lay upon man more than that which is just; that he should enter into judgment with God. He shall break in pieces mighty men without number and set others in their stead. I know that the LORD will effect the judgment of the poor and the judgment of the destitute.
All the days of the poor are difficult, but he that is of a good heart has a continual feast.
Rob not the poor, because he is poor: neither destroy the destitute in judgment: For the LORD will judge their cause and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

He that is afflicted deserves mercy from his friend; but he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty.
Remember those that are in bonds as bound with them and those who suffer adversity as being yourselves also in the body.
