But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife on any ground, except unfaithfulness, makes her commit adultery, and anyone who marries her after she is divorced commits adultery.
Remember those who are in prison as though you were in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated as being yourselves liable to the same trials.
You who are husbands must love your wives and not be harsh to them.
You married women must subordinate yourselves to your husbands, as you do to the Lord,
You must understand this, my dear brothers. Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to be angry, for men's anger does not produce the uprightness God wishes.
No bad word must ever pass your lips, but only words that are good and suited to improve the occasion, so that they will be a blessing to those who hear them.
