And concerning things offered to idols we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.
Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love is not boastful, is not puffed up, does not behave unbecomingly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, devises not evil, rejoices not in wickedness, but rejoices in the truth; read more.
bears all things, believes all things, hopes for all things, and endures all things. Love never fails; but if there are prophecies, they shall pass away; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it shall pass away. And we know in part and we prophesy in part; when the perfect has come, that which is in part shall pass away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child; when I became a man I put away childish things. For now we see by a mirror darkly, but then we shall see face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully as I also am known. And now remain faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
