The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: your arrows also went abroad. The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lighted up the world: the earth trembled and shook. Your way is in the sea, and your path in the great waters, and your footsteps are not known. You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble. Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was your anger against the rivers? was your wrath against the sea, that you did ride upon your horses and your chariots of salvation? Your bow was made quite ready, according to the oaths over your arrows. Selah. You did divide the earth with rivers. The mountains saw you, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered its voice, and lifted up its hands on high. The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of your arrows they went, and at the shining of your glittering spear. You did march through the land in indignation, you did trample the nations in anger.
