This man went to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given. And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the tomb.

And after the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the sepulcher. From fear of him the keepers did shake and become like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women: Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified. And go quickly, and tell his disciples, that he has risen from the dead: and behold, he goes before you into Galilee. There you shall see him. Lo, I have told you. And they went out quickly from the sepulcher, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

She turned, and said to him: Rabboni; which is, translated, Teacher. Jesus said to her: Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.
